As the African travel and tourism economy continues to make efforts to gradually stabilise and recover from the huge devastating impact of the COVID 19 pandemic, Desigo Tourism Development Company is set to explore and showcase  opportunities in the tourism and investment sectors in Rwanda to the Nigerian market.


This laudable initiative by Desigo Tourism Development Company, a Destination Management Company that focusses on sustainable tourism development in Africa and an affiliate member of the African Tourism Board will include leading a delegation of tour operators, practitioners and investors to explore the numerous economic and tourism opportunities in Rwanda. 


The chief executive officer of the company and Ambassador for African Tourism Board to Nigeria, Amb. Abigail Olagbaye MITPN stated that it is time to take the existing cordial relationship even further, to boost the tourism and investment sectors between the two countries. She said this when she paid a courtesy visit to the High Commission of the United Republic of Rwanda in Abuja where she was warmly received by the High Commissioner Amb. Stanislas Kamanzi.


As an ambassador of the African Tourism Board and in line with the objectives of the organisation, the primary aim is to boost sustainable tourism development in Africa and to foster and facilitate investments, economic opportunities, unity, understanding and friendship for Africa in the international community and amongst countries in Africa. 


The project will include a familiarization trip of Nigerian creatives, tourists, investors, tour operators and practitioners to Rwanda amongst other line up of activities and   is set to kick off as soon as all arrangements are finalised.
