Following the emergency of Covid-19 pandemic which has rendered most businesses non functional, stakeholders in tourism are not yielding to the scourge but synergising to bring back the sector, hence the International Tourism and Investment Conference [ITIC] in partnership with World Travel Market – Africa to organise ITIC/WTM-AFRICA SUMMIT 2021.

“We have the great pleasure to announce you that ITIC has entered into a strategic partnership with WTM Africa to hold a series of 3 conferences in 2021 on Investment, rebuilding and restarting Africa’s sustainable travel and tourism sector in the aftermath of the restraining effects of the worldwide vaccination campaigns against the COVID-19”, Said Ibrahim Ayoub, the Group Chief Executive Officer, International Tourism and Investment Conference.

The event which will come up in different phases will kick – off virtually on the 7th and 8th April 2021 and on the 24th June 2021, a full day Summit while the third one will be part of Africa Travel Week Connect which will be an in-person event from 1 to 3 September 2021 in Cape Town, South Africa.
