The African tourism Board has expressed its condolences to the Zulu Kingdom in Southern Africa which has been sadly touched following the passing of the Regent to the Zulu throne, after the recent demise of the former king.
“It is with great grief that as ATB we have noted with much pain the passing away of the Regent of the Zulu Nation, Her Majesty, Queen Montfombi Dlamini Zulu, the second wife of the Late King of the Zulu Nation who passed away recently just like His Majesty, King Goodwill Zwelithini”, ATB Chairman,Curthbert Ncube said.
After the death of the King She has been the Regent to the Zulu Nation.The Queen hails from Eswatini Royal Family and she is the sister to His Majesty King Makati III of Eswatini .
“We convey our deepest condolences to the Royal Family in Eswatini, the Government at large, the Royal Family in South Africa and Africa at large”. Ncube further condoled.
Also expressing his condolences, the President of ATB Alain ST.ANGE who shares the Kingdom’s grief and hopes to keep them in prayers. “This is sad news. The rich Zulu Kingdom has lost another great member of their family and I not only share in their grief, but assure them they are in my thoughts and prayers”
This comes at the back drop of a strong relationship between ATB and the Eswatini Government in unifying Africa through cultural Tourism which has been gaining momentum.
