In commemoration of the 2021 Africa Day, the United Bank for Africa has organized a webinar to discuss about the continent tagged ” UBA Africa Conversations 2021″ where global leaders such as President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala of World Trade Organisation and others will dissect the continent and the event will be moderated by Mr. Tony Elumelu, Group Chairman UBA-one of the biggest financial institutions in Nigeria but with a continental presence.


The webinar which has as its theme “Africa To The World” comes up on the 25th May, 2021 from 12:00 pm WAT.

“We are delighted to invite you to UBA Africa Conversations 2021, a high-level panel session in celebration of Africa Day”. A release says.

“The esteemed global leaders on this virtual panel will highlight targeted steps that are being developed to address the economy and finance, health, safety and other pertinent topics as they discuss the way forward to achieving the goal of sustainable development in Africa”. it added.

Speakers expected at the webinar are as follows:

H.E Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda
Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General, World Trade Organisation
Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, Director-General, World Health Organisation
Makhtar Diop, Managing Director, International Finance Corporation

Moderator:

Tony O. Elumelu, CON, Group Chairman, United Bank for Africa (UBA) & Founder, Tony Elumelu Foundation.

Meanwhile members of the public are invited to join the discussions.
