Arrangements are being perfected by committees saddled with the responsibility of working assiduously for the host of the biggest cultural festival in recent times in Africa tagged ” African Cultural Carnival-Eswatini 2022” as it hopes to host more than 25 cultural troupes from different countries totalling 2,500 individuals in the Kingdom by September 2022.

The cultural festivity which is the initiative of the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Kingdom of Eswatini, Hon. Moses Vilakati in collaboration with African Tourism Board (ATB), UNESCO and all other relevant stakeholders hopes to create tourism and cultural excitement for destination Eswatini .

Inspite of the challenges being experienced recently where protesters were agitating, assurances have been given that everything has been resolved and the unrest is under the control of the authority .

Mr. Cuthbert Ncube, Chairman African Tourism Board reassured stakeholders on the need to keep the momentum floating in his words.

”It’s safe we, will continue our engagements with the committed teams that have been assigned by the Minister to lead and overlook the program in preparations for the 2022 Continental Cultural Festival where we are expecting more than 25 Member States converging on the Kingdom of Eswatini to showcase the rich diversity of the African pride in Arts and Culture”.

”I had a conversation with the Minister of Tourism Hon. Vilakati who is in high spirit and committed his undivided support to this great initiative to bring Africa together initiated by the Minister himself collaborating with UNESCO and Partnered with the African Tourism Board. Post Covid, ATB is committed to rebranding and positioning the continent as the most desired investment and Tourist Destination of choice”,Ncube Added.
