The Chairman African Tourism Board Mr. Cuthbert Ncube has urged African countries to synergies for more unity in their approaches so as to ensure progressive moves within the continent.
He dropped this advise while giving his opening remarks yesternight aduring the on going “Africa Celebrates 2021”, at a night dedicated to the Central African Region and its people which took place at the prestigious the Club Addis in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
“We just attended the Eastern African Regional Tourism Expo 2021 that was hosted by Tanzania, in Arusha where we saw unity of Africans at its best. As we are coming from the Covid-19 pandemic, which, I believe has afforded us a time to go back to the drawing board as Africans proudly raising our flags. At African Tourism Board, our advocation is to see how best we can cordinate our synergies, how best can we come togther as Africans so that we are able to drive the agenda that was initiated by the African Union, seeing how best can we come up as Africans and most probably disintergrate ourselves from Eurocentric dependency syndrome. Africa has so much to offer in our diversity and as we compliment one another as member States, this initiative needs to be applauded”, Ncube said.
He further applauded Mr.Lexy Mojo Eyes for the great initiative saying such would bring the more, Africans under one umbrella through culture, music, arts, gastronomy and tourism as the umbrella of all.
