The President African Tourism Board, Mr. Alain St.Ange and his counterpart, Chairman, ATB, Cuthbert Ncube have both eulogised and celebrated the great virtues and lifetime legacy left behind by former President of South Africa and Statesman, Nelson Mandela of a blessed memory.

The United Nations has dedicated every 18th of July as Nelson Mandela International Day, in recognition of his life and death, more so a celebration of a worthy life and a leadership quality in South Africa.

Today marks another one and the theme for this year resonates around helping one another “One Hand Can Help Another”.

“Remembering President Nelson Mandela on this special day for Africa is so important for each and everyone who calls Africa home. President Mandela remains an icon for our continent, one who made our continent proud and one who was the best example for us all to follow” said Alain St.Ange, the President of the African Tourism Board.

”As Africans, today, I want us all to reflect on the theme for this year’s Nelson Mandela International Day by ensuring we give and support one another in whatever way possible, and with that we will keep Mandela’s legacy forever”. Cuthbert Ncube, Chairman, African Tourism Board advised.

“On 18 July every year, we invite you to mark Nelson Mandela International Day by making a difference in your communities. Everyone has the ability and the responsibility to change the world for the better! Mandela Day is an occasion for all to take action and inspire change”. Said Anthonio Gutterres United Nations Secretary General.

Other eminent personalities continue to pour in their messages of celebration as the world marks 2021 Nelson Mandela International Day.
