Alain St.Ange, the President of the African Tourism Board and former Seychelles Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, yesterday seized an apple opportunity presented by the guests present during the Eid Fitri Festive Dinner in Jakarta to amplify the vision and mission of the African Tourism Board as well as the entire continental Africa.
St.Ange who is currently on an official trip to Indonesia was invited to the Eid Fitri Festive Dinner in Jakarta by the business community and friends of Africa where he pro-actively informed the gathering about ATB’s lofty visions of rewriting the history of Africa and also promoting Africa as the best destination to the global community.
He also spoke about the diversity of the fifty four member States of Africa and of the extensive unique selling points that are existentially waiting for the discerning holiday makers.
St.Ange encouraged Indonesians and citizens from the neighbouring countries as well as citizens of the World to visit Africa by combining one or two countries together and also advised Africans to reciprocate the gesture by turning to Indonesia for holidays and shopping trips.
The festive dinner was attended by members of the African Diplomatic Corps in Indonesia, Ministers from Indonesia, business communities and Chief of Indonesian Immigration among others.
