The President of the African Tourism Board, Mr. Alain ST. Ange and the Executive Chairman, Mr. Cuthbert Ncube have both released a statements congratulating the Tanzanian Novelist Abdulrazak Gurnah for being announced as the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize for Literature.
“You have made Africa proud as you were awarded the converted 2021 Nobel Peace Prize for Literature. You are showing that Africa can shine and that the world only needs to untie the wings of each and every African to let us fly”,said ST.Ange from Seychelles.
The President of the African Tourism Board has been pushing for Africa to rewrite its own narrative and never misses an opportunity to re-echo this call, saying that the key USPs of Africa can best be echoed by Africans.
“Africans have shown to the world how our potentials can be well well recognised especially through our narratives. A brilliant testament is another Laureate emerging from Africa in the person of Tanzania’s Novelist, Abdulrazak Gurnah and of a coincidence my state coming enroute Arusha, one of the coveted tourism destination in Tanzania.
The African Tourism Board will continue to push for Africa to be more united as one as it prepares for the complete re-opening of its tourism industry.
