It was a memorable occasion as African Tourism Board enters into a partnership with some strategic and viable organizations yesterday at Protea Hotel Fire & Ice, Pretoria, Menlyn,South Africa.

It was the MoUs signing between Revealed Word University, ATB partnered initiative with five companies: PRAKIS, BLUE EYE SECURITY, PROTECH/SOSH ELEC, and TWO GUEST HOUSES.

The purpose of the partnership is to develop cooperation and promote collaboration, interaction geared towards human resources development, fair trade and tourism business development in Africa.

Also to organizing and coordinating tourism activities, career guidance and counseling for tourists , instructors, mediation and conflict resolutions, educational development of youths into the mainstream of the corporate world.

All the parties also felt it would be ideal to synergise in order to promote skills development, training, research and entrepreneurship development.

The areas of mutual cooperation will also include training benefit for workers and leaders of all the stakeholders, partner organizations and countries for the purpose of boosting socio-economic development of Africa through research programs, short courses programs, seminars, exhibitions and conferences which are to be offered by any of the entities.

The event was attended by Prof. Mosoma, the Chair of CRL Commission, Prof. Mapotse, the DVC of Revealed Word University, Dr. Levy Motebejane, the Brand Ambassador of ATB and member RWU Governing Council, Dr Dimakatso Mawela the CEO and President of WOVA, Hon. Cuthbert Ncube the Executive Chairman, ATB and Hon. A Obilana the CEO of Prakis Educational Services and other captains in both tourism and education sectors in Africa.

ATB is however excited to note that its 2022 calendar of events will feature some of the activities this partnership will bring as they will be hosting their first International Education Conference to be held in South Africa between 12-17 September, 2022 also in partnership with SA Education Department, Pan-African Parliament, African Union Development Agency, African Career Development Centre, Achievers University, Nigeria, Revealed Word University, South Africa, Rwanda and the USA Department of Tourism.

The conference will bring Continental and International guest speakers from the academia, tourism sector, public and private sector and current and former Heads of States.
