An advise has gone to the entire community leaders across Africa to ensure peace reigns in their domains in order ensure the peoples live a worthy life.

This was the advise by His Royal Majesty Oba El- Hadji Abdoul Rahmane Adjado Aderemilekun Sanni, Alajase Onikoyi Abesan, the 6th, the King of Yoruba people in Ajase Ile-Porto Novo, Benin Republic.

He dropped the advise during a working visit by the Grassroots Africa Awards and Conference International team led by the Convener, Mr. Kazeem Balogun, Managing Director, Kalo Africa Media and Mr. Azeez Oladele Ebo, Country Representative for GACCI in Benin Republic.

“In my Kingdom, I maintain peace in my community and this should be the same in all communities across Africa. When issues come up let us use peaceful resolution to approach them with that our peoples will live in peace and harmony across the continent”.

He also expressed his willingness to be a part of the Grassroots Africa Awards and Conference International, COTONOU 2021 as the Royal Father of the Day which he believes would unify the continent and bring about peaceful co-existence.

“Let me assure you of my full support of what you are doing which I believe will bring peace and harmony to the continent. I will support you and will pray for your success” , His Majesty said.

Responding, the convener of Grassroots Africa Awards and Conference International Cotonou 2021, Kazeem Balogun expressed his happiness at the warm reception by His Majesty and his acceptance to be the Royal Father at the event.

”I thank His Majesty for the warm welcome to his great palace and also appreciate his willingness to be our royal father at the event. Also thanking him for the prayers and the support. I want to assure him of my unflinching resolve to continue disseminating positive information about Africa which is our core objective at Kalo Africa Media and more importantly supporting the traditional institutions in such a way that they will be able to regain their position as the mouthpiece of the people”.


You will recall that the first edition of GAACI 2019 took place in Accra, Ghana and the second edition in Lagos, Nigeria, the third edition is slated for 25th September, 2021 at the coveted Benin Royal Hotel,Cotonou, Benin Republic where great personalities in Benin Republic and the world would be recognised.
