Myriam St.Ange, a tourism pioneer of high repute in Seychelles who was also a sister of Alain St. Ange, has passed at the ripe age of 74 at her home in Seychelles today.

Myriam and her two sons, Carl & Sydney Mills converted the La Digue Island St.Ange family home, the Chateau St.Cloud in the Seychelles into a family hotel retaining the colonial era characteristics of the iconic building.

She was a successful tourism player and an important stakeholder in the Island’s tourism industry . She played a very pivotal role and would continue to remain a focal point in the tourism development of the islands.

Myriam St.Ange, who celebrated her 74th birthday four days ago but sadly passed away unexpectedly but after living a worthy, successful and beautiful life.

St.Ange family had gathered at the La Digue-a pristine tourism destination for the last two days to be close to her but she passed away surrounded by her sons, brothers and other families in what was an emotional farewell.

Myriam St.Ange is a sister to Hon. Alain St.Ange, ATB president and former Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine of the Seychelles. She will be remembered by many Seychellois and many of her family members who are successful tourism players in Seychelles.
