Cuthbert Ncube – DAKAR, senegal
After taking our Lunch at Chez Rastar Restaurant off the coast at lagoon place,
flanked by myself and Honourable Ambassador Deme, is Mr. Rasta the owner and Managing Director of the famous eatery that hosts Patrons from all over the World.
With the high numbers of tourists flocking to Senegal, the Chez Rasta restaurant has experienced a positive growth in recovery takings and is contributing towards job security in the country.
We managed to interact with few patrons from France who have been in Senegal for a week and are intending staying for another two weeks as they have experienced so much calmness and tranquility over and above the warmly hospitality from the Senegalese community.
The Chaz Restaurent employs 60 employees and supporting more than 300 families directly, and now they are operating at 100% capacity and the positivity through the Minister of Tourism, Hon. Alioune Sarr, who has been very instrumental in turning around the tourism sector within a short space of time after the deadly impact of the pandemic.
