The Afro-Asian Union (AFASU) has presented its prestigious International Golden Award for Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Expansion to Ibrahim El Shayeb, Chairman of Master Company Group, during a ceremony held at Dusit Thani Cairo, Egypt.
The award recognizes El Shayeb’s outstanding leadership and the remarkable growth of Master Company Group, a hospitality and services company that manages international brands across strategic locations and airports. AFASU emphasized that the award is granted free of charge and only after a rigorous assessment by an independent international jury comprising experts, academics, and specialists.
A key figure in the selection process was Alain St. Ange, who heads AFASU’s Awards Sector. He highlighted the group’s achievements in management, innovation, and sustainable expansion, noting that the nomination received widespread acclaim from the international jury.
The event attracted prominent government officials, business leaders, and media representatives from Africa, Asia, and the Arab world. Notable attendees included Khaled Fouda, Hossam Darwish, and other senior dignitaries.
During his remarks, St. Ange praised Egypt’s rapid infrastructure development and urged African countries to recognize and celebrate their own achievements. He also highlighted the importance of political maturity, citing his appointment as Seychelles’ Ambassador-at-Large by President Patrick Herminie despite having contested against him in the previous presidential election.
Accepting the award, Ibrahim El Shayeb dedicated the recognition to the entire Master Company Group team and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continued growth, innovation, and adherence to global quality standards.
The ceremony featured Egypt’s national anthem, speeches by AFASU leaders, a documentary on the company’s growth, and the presentation of the award by Hossam Darwish, Khaled Fouda, and Alain St. Ange. AFASU also recognized several Arab social media influencers and content creators with Certificates of Excellence for their contributions to culture and media.
