Olori Dr. Amb. Omolara Fashola-MacGregor has been officially installed as the National Patron and Peace Ambassador of the World Human Rights and Peace Commission during a colourful investiture ceremony held on the 31st July 2026 at The Lusso Hotel, Abuja, Nigeria. The event, which attracted distinguished personalities from across different sectors, celebrated her outstanding contributions to humanity, peacebuilding, women’s empowerment and the promotion of justice.
In her acceptance speech, Olori Fashola-MacGregor expressed profound gratitude to the leadership of the World Human Rights and Peace Commission for finding her worthy of such a prestigious honour. She described the appointment as both a privilege and a responsibility, pledging to use her new position to advocate for global peace, unity, tolerance and the protection of fundamental human rights.
