The Africa International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AICCI) once again demonstrated its growing influence and leadership across the continent as its Chairman, H.E. Amb. Brig. General Dr. Wallace Williams, represented the Chamber with distinction and shared optimism at the highly anticipated TARAVEST 2025, held from May 21st to 23rd in Jalingo, Taraba State, Nigeria.

Amb. Dr. Williams joined Africa’s most iconic business titans — Mr. Tony Elumelu, Chairman of Heirs Holdings and the United Bank for Africa (UBA), and Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man and President of the Dangote Group — at the high table, a powerful symbol of AICCI’s elevation to the frontlines of the continent’s economic transformation.

TARAVEST, the premier investment and trade summit of Taraba State, brought together leading investors, industry pioneers, policymakers, and global thought leaders for three days of high-level networking, deal-making, and strategic discourse on Africa’s investment landscape, green industrialization, and inclusive economic growth.

Amb. Dr. Williams’ presence among such elite African business personalities solidifies AICCI’s pivotal role in shaping investment direction and policy across the continent. His contributions during strategic sessions echoed the Chamber’s commitment to advancing intra-African trade, catalyzing industrial development, and creating enabling environments for entrepreneurs and investors, especially within emerging markets like Taraba.

“To sit at the table with Africa’s finest minds in enterprise and development is not just a recognition of our Chamber’s strategic voice—it is a call to action to drive even deeper collaborations across borders, sectors, and generations,” said Amb. Dr. Williams.

The Chairman also used the occasion to engage with state officials, local entrepreneurs, and potential investors, advocating for sustainable investment models and inclusive policies that reflect the aspirations of Africa’s next generation of business leaders.

As AICCI continues to lead from the front, this moment at TARAVEST not only celebrates a powerful convergence of Africa’s private sector leadership but also opens doors to new partnerships, visibility, and advocacy platforms for the Chamber.
