From August 20 to 22, 2025, Mozambique will host the Africa Diplomatic Tourism and Investment Forum (ADTIF), a continental platform that places the country at the heart of key conversations on investment, innovation, tourism, and economic cooperation.
ADTIF 2025 represents a coordinated movement to transform African ambitions into concrete action. At a time when the continent is repositioning itself to respond with homegrown solutions to global challenges, Maputo is proposed as the meeting point between productive sectors, public policies, and Africa’s strategic interests.
Organized by the African Tourism Board (ATB), the African Union Sixth Region Global (AU6RG), the Economic Community Africa Sixth Region (ECASR), the African Travel Commission (ATC), and Mozambique’s Ministry of Economy, the Forum also forms part of the official celebrations of Mozambique’s 50 years of independence. It is supported institutionally by SADC, the African Union, and various private sector entities.
The Forum stands out for integrating key themes for continental development, focusing discussions on digital transformation, mobility, environmental conservation, human capital development, and infrastructure to support intra-African trade.
The Confirmed Key Speakers
Mozambique will present its own vision for the future through the active participation of ministers from the Economy, Agriculture, Environment and Fisheries, Education and Culture, Communications and Digital Transformation sectors, as well as Secretaries of State for Tourism and Transport. These leaders will outline the ongoing structural plans, investment priorities, and major opportunities for regional and international collaboration.
The program includes:
- Six thematic panels with high-level speakers from Africa and the Caribbean
- The presence of continental and international leaders such as Joaquim Chissano, the AU Commissioner for ARBE, the President of the Pan-African Parliament, and the Minister of Tourism of Jamaica
- Presentation of successful investment case studies in Mozambique, showcasing the positive impact of synergy between the public sector, private investors, and local communities
By positioning Mozambique as a reliable and strategic destination, ADTIF 2025 strengthens an African narrative of solutions, leadership, and concrete cooperation. It also sends a clear message that future major investments in Africa will be driven by vision, coordination, and local insight.
