ABEOKUTA-
This week in the ancient city of Abeokuta, the vision and unity for Egbaliganza-Lisabi Festival 2026 was formally unveiled. What began as a tribute to the legendary Lisabi Agbongboakala has matured into a sophisticated global stage.
Guided by the royal wisdom of Kabiyesi, the Alake of Egbaland, and operating as the crown jewel of the Lisabi Festival, Egbaliganza is no longer just an event, it is a movement. On March 28, 2026, Abeokuta will host the world as Africa’s premier Cultural Exchange with over 50 nations and the unveiling of the Alake-Egbaliganza Drum, a new monument that marks the dawn of a new frontier for the people of Egba Land. This is where heritage meets industry. This is where the story of Egba resilience becomes a blueprint for African unity. From the hands of our local weavers to the eyes of global investors, Egbaliganza 2026 is the bridge between our glorious past and an organized, prosperous future.
